THE CUPPING SESSION is a guided tasting at the roastery designed to introduce you to the world of specialty coffee through tasting. A hands-on, direct, and accessible experience, ideal for those who want to better understand what distinguishes a good coffee from a quality specialty.
During the session, you'll taste 8 different coffees, selected from seasonal micro-lots, different origins, and different processes. We'll guide you through the tasting to recognize aromas, structure, balance, and the differences between the various coffees.
How the tasting works
The session takes place at the roastery and follows the professional cupping method.

- Questions and discussion of the coffees tasted

THE CUPPING SESSION — Full Experience is the ideal addition to the standard tasting: an extra moment before the cupping session to better immerse yourself in the world of Specialty coffees and enjoy the experience more fully.
Those who choose the Full Experience arrive at the roastery before the cupping session begins, participate in a dedicated introduction and a guided tasting of two filter coffees, freshly prepared and explained. After this initial session, they join the standard tasting session with the other participants.
This way, you can experience the entire introductory session in greater depth, and then participate in the cupping session with a clearer understanding of what you're tasting.
In addition to a guided tasting of 8 coffees, this version includes:
- Introduction to Specialty Coffee
- Introduction to the LA SOSTA Roastery
- Guided tasting of two filter coffees, prepared and explained on the spot
- A more in-depth experience that will allow you to approach cupping with greater knowledge and awareness
